In order not to compromise the effectiveness of essential oils, it is advised not to heat it for more than 2 minutes. However, the slurry works best if applied cold. Wrap over with a protective film (again, you can use food wraps from your kitchen). This ‘anti-cellulite’ dessert represents a revision of the classic aspic, namely fruit jelly. We will prepare two layers: the first will consist of an infusion of Centella Asiatica and blueberry juice, while the latter will be prepared with yogurt, smooth cranberries and isinglass.

First, prepare a therapeutic infusion with the centella. Boil the water in a saucepan: when it reaches boiling, immerse the filled infuser with the Centella Asiatica, turn off the fire and leave it in the infusion for 20 minutes, allowing the ‘solvent’ (water) to extract the active ingredients from the blooming summits of Centella Asiatica. Meanwhile, soak 5 sheets of isinglass (10 g) in a bowl filled with cold water.

Squeeze lemon juice directly into the infusion: lemon also contributes to the ‘anti-cellulite’ activity of dessert due to its strong antioxidant properties, conferred by the important presence of vitamin C.

After 20 minutes, remove the centella infusion from the water and dissolve the isinglass, well pressed by the soaking water. If necessary, warm the infusion lightly until the glue is completely dissolved. Add all blueberry juice and mix, without adding sugars or other sweeteners: the natural sugars contained in the blueberry juice will suffice.

Pour the liquid into two silicone molds (classic molds for pudding or panna cotta), filling them up to 2/3 of their height. Pour about 30 g of blueberries in each mold and place the molds in the fridge for at least one hour.

Anti-cellulite blueberry ice-cream

Anticellulite ice cream preparation

Bring the water to boiling in a saucepan. Turn off the fire and infuse 5 g of Centella Asiatica (flowered tops), 5 g of vine grape (leaves) and 5 g of green tea (leaves). Leave the infusion for 20 minutes: this way you will get a therapeutic infusion.

Please note that herbal preparations, such as infusions do not allow the exact amount of active molecules to be administered. Though it is a drink of appreciable virtues, we cannot state that this mix of substances can produce miraculous effects. When you want to use these ingredients (as medicinal herbs) for therapeutic purposes, it is best to turn to a medical preparation competent for using defined pharmaceutical formulations and standardized in active ingredients.

After 20 minutes, filter the mixture through a narrow mesh strainer. Heat up again until it reaches 45 ° C: disperse Aglumix powder while stirring vigorously (Aglumix is a powder consisting of mono and glycerides of fatty acids, guar gum and carob seed gum. Added to the compound, it gives the ice cream a warmer feel in the mouth and feels less iced). Add lemon juice, sugar, fructose and dextrose. Allow to cool, first at room temperature, then refrigerate. Dextrose is a sweetener widely used in ice creams for its extraordinary antifreeze power: by lowering the freezing point of the water contained in the mixture, it will be possible to obtain a very creamy and put-together ice cream.

At this point, add the yogurt (it is recommended to choose non-pasturized whole yogurt) and the blueberry juice. Mix the mixture and pour into the ice-cream maker. Treat it for 30-50 minutes, depending on the type of ice cream maker you have. Place ice cream in freezer for 20 minutes before tasting it. Serve with the side blueberries or other bright berries and fruits.

It is advisable to place the molds on a saucer before filling them with the liquid to avoid leakage during moving.

Soak the remaining isinglass (4 g) in cold water. When it is softened, melt it in a paddy with grilled milk. Just before removing the mold from the fridge, pour the yogurt into a bowl, add 40 g of blueberries and whip it all with the dive mixer. Add the isinglass in the milk. Remove the molds from the fridge and cover with the yoghurt and bilberry cake. Place it back in the fridge and allow it to cool until the fish paste solidifies.

To prepare this anti-cellulite smoothie we chose some types of fruit, such as grapefruit, strawberries, raspberries and pineapple, rich in ascorbic acid, all allied in the fight against cellulite. Blueberries, an antioxidant source, contain active ingredients that can stimulate microcirculation and protect, as well as strengthen, the wall of the blood capillaries. Pineapple, besides being a fruit rich in antioxidants, contributes to the reduction of cellulite for diuretic and purifying properties.

Clean and cut the pineapple. To facilitate cleaning, it is advisable to use the special sliced ​​pineapple. Wash the blueberries and raspberries and dry them gently. Wash the strawberries, dry them and remove the petiole. Cut the pink grapefruit and remove the white bitter film.

The intrinsic properties of clay are also wisely exploited in anti-cellulite treatment with thermal mud: clay, in fact, gives elasticity and tone to the tissues while purifying the skin from toxins. Anti-cellulite treatments based on thermal mud are also appreciated for the positive and very pleasant effects experienced by the customer in the short term: after a first application, the skin is more smooth, toned and elastic.

To this end, it is recommended that:

  • Reduce the intake of foods rich in fat and refined flour
  • Prize fruits, vegetables and whole grains
  • Drink a lot of water
  • Eat fish rich in omega 3
  • Reduce sugar intake
  • Limit the consumption of red meat, dairy products and other foods that cellulite cells are hypersensitive to.
  • Dedicate a little time regularly to aerobic, water-gym, spinning, dancing, avoiding overloading that provokes lactic acid and triggers cellulite formation.
